The Bazooka JMAX QL Iron-Woods has the deepest Center of Gravity (CG) that Tour Edge has ever created Unlike past Tour Edge Iron-Woods, the QL has a 15-gram tungsten sole weight. You'll hit higher, longer and more accurate shots because this fixed weight creates a lower CG and a higher moment of inertia (the club's ability to resist twisting).
In addition to the tungsten sole weight, the Bazooka JMAX QL Iron-Wood's thin Hyper-Steel walls allow more weight to be placed in the sole. The result is a 120-gram sole that lowers and deepens the CG position. The super-thin Hyper-Steel face makes the QL Iron-Wood one of the hottest clubs you'll ever hit. The QL irons are manufactured using a new casting method to produce our patented undercut cavity from one piece of 431 stainless steel. The deep-channeled undercut cavity allows the center of gravity to be moved lower and further back from the face to give you the forgiveness and higher flight pattern you've always dreamed of. The club's super-thin face (2.3mm) and the heavy perimeter weighting move more than 40% of the head's total weight to the outer edges of the club. The extreme perimeter weighting and low profile make the club more stable to keep you on target, even on off-center hits.
