Tour feedback has led to a more blunt toe and symmetrical shape for an appealing look at address. The HiBORE XLS fairway is 19 percent larger than the original HiBORE fairway, making it Cleveland Golf’s largest face ever on a fairway wood. By drastically increasing the hitting area, results on mis-hits have dramatically improved.
24 percent larger head volume than the original HiBORE fairway increases MOI for more stability and very accurate shots. Larger size makes it look extremely hittable and creates slightly more spin to get the ball into the air easily. Additional set promotes a square face at impact, preventing slices and making it easier for directional and trajectory control. The additional set also frames the ball more like an iron by positioning the leading edge closer to the hosel.
